Intro

At the end of The Curse of Monkey Island, our hero and mighty pirate, Guybrush Treepwood, at last, after a lot of troubles, could marry his beloved Elaine, Governor of Melée Island.

Now they are returning home after their Honeymoon. To keep Guybrush from mischief, Elaine, who not always is as sweet as she looks, tied Guybrush to the big mast. Suddenly they are attacked by an other pirate ship. Elaine is fighting heroically but as Guybrush can't assist it all goes wrong.

When the game starts, Elaine is taken prisoner by the pirates and Guybrush is still tied to his own mast. Now you are going to lead him and guide him to avoid troubles.

Walk a bit round the mast towards the left of the screen until you can see the line "Look at brazier full of hot coals". Mark it by scrolling with the keys Page Up or Page Down. (If you need more help navigating click here ).

When the line is highlighted press U and Guybrush will kick it down and the hot coals come falling out.

Highlight the line "Look at pile of hot coals". When you see yourself looking at the coals press P to pick up a coal with your feet.

Walk around the mast towards the loaded canon until you get the line "Kick hot red chunk at loaded canon". Highlight the line and then press Enter.
Now things start to happen. The cannon is fired and sinks the enemy ship.
Elaine is freed and comes to your help. All is forgiven.
You set course directly to the Island and the waiting Welcome Ceremony.

Continue working in the same way through the rest of the game.
